Mud Goose Dam. This is the only place on the Leech river that stops you from going all the way to Federal Dam by boat. Federal Dam is the Dam for Leech Lake.

There is a boat launch here on the upper (West) side of the Dam and people who are patiant and fish the Dams West side may hook into a nice Walleye.
The East side is abundent with Rock Bass, Blue Gill, Sun Fish, but also Walleye and Nothern. There is a large linear area to fish here.
Spring spawn brings may people at the Dam for spearing and (snaring (illegal?)) Suckers for Smokeing and pickeling.
All in all it's a great place to fish and you never know what you'll get next.


You don't need a boat to fish here.
